As a lifelong cricket fan, this was a seriously exciting project to be part of, with one of Australia’s newest cricketing prodigies Cameron Green
We built a full blackout studio look, starting from a white room. Two 12x12 blacks created the main walls, with an 8x8 black on the left and black wrap on the floor to kill bounce.
For lighting, we went with a super soft source: a 2400B punched through a 4x4 China silk, then again through a 6x6 Halo Frost for a double diffusion. To separate Cam from the abyss behind him, we boomed in a Nanlite 60CL as a subtle back edge.
